Posting to the Social Feed on behalf of your company is a great way to engage your customers and share valuable updates to a wider audience quickly and easily. When posting to the Social Feed where your audience may be all customers or a large segment of your customers and their family contacts, your audience may want to respond or comment on the information you've shared. The comments added to a public post in the Social Feed are visible to all recipients of the original post.
Although we would encourage this kind of engagement as it creates a friendly environment for customers and their contacts to interact with your business and the whole community, some comments may not be suitable for other customers to read as they may include private information about the customer or may be unnecessarily triggering for other customers.
There are two ways that these comments can be managed in Hayylo including directly removing the comment by the person that made the comment or by your team removing the comment.
Customer would like to remove their comment
In this example, the customer or their family contact has added a comment to a public Social Feed post that they would now like to remove. While logged into the app, the person that posted the comment can return to the Social Feed and scroll to the comment that they added. A trash can icon appears on the right side of the comment indicating that the person has the ability to remove this comment from the Social Feed. Clicking the icon prompts the person to confirm that they would like to remove the comment.
Your team would like to remove the comment
In this example, your team have noticed a comment on a public post that they would like to remove. By opening the Social Feed in the Hayylo web console, your team are able to select the trash can icon on the right side of the comment that you would like to remove. Again clicking the icon will ask if you would like to remove the comment. Once the comment is removed, a note is added to replace the comment which confirms that the comment was removed.
