January 2025: Multi-user Management Improvements

Multi-User Management with Online Authority

Managing care for multiple clients has never been easier. We’ve eliminated the need for multiple logins or devices! Often, we’ve seen households with two clients using one phone number and needing a smoother way to manage both accounts with a single login. Previously, we recommended workarounds like logging in via email or using two separate devices, which we understand was a barrier to seamless service. After months of effort, we’re excited to release this foundational update.

Key New Capabilities:

  1. Single Login for Multiple Clients: Family members and caregivers can now manage multiple clients with one login, easily switching between profiles.
  2. Online Authority: Clients now have full control over who has access to their profile with customisable permission settings
    • View & Manage
    • View Only
    • No Access
  3. Simplified Family Management: A new “Family and Support” section in the mobile app allows users to easily invite family members and manage their access to client profiles.

How Can You Help Your Clients?

These capabilities are also available to Enterprise users via the Hayylo platform in the “Contacts & Authority” section of a client profile. Here’s are few scenarios on how you can help

  1. Scenario A – Household Management with one phone number: Betty and John live together and share the same phone number. Currently, the number is linked to Betty’s profile. To enable Betty to see John’s profile as well, you can go to John’s client view and add Betty as a contact. Now, when Betty logs in, she can switch between her profile and John’s with a single login. Easy, right?
  2. Scenario B – Daughter wants to manage mom and dad: Sarah, Betty and John’s daughter, want to help manage their services. You can now add Sarah to both Betty’s and John’s contact lists. When Sarah logs in, she’ll be able to see both profiles and help her parents manage their care.
  3. Scenario C – Betty wants more privacy: If Betty no longer wants Sarah to access her profile, you can easily update Sarah’s access in the “Contacts and Authority” section, changing her permission to No Access. This will immediately stop Sarah from seeing Betty’s information.

These are just a few examples to show how this new capability can streamline management and ensure both privacy and security for your clients. For more information, please see the Multi-User FAQ.

We believe these updates will enhance your interactions with your clients and make it easier for them to manage their services. Thank you for your continued support!
