What's changing
What is My Requests? Clients see every request they've raised in one place, and can message your team directly in the app. Your team replies straight from Hayylo Web — no separate system.
What's different for my team? You can reply to app-raised requests directly from Hayylo Web using Reply via App. The client sees your reply as a message in the same thread where they raised the request.
What's different for app users? A single place to see every request they've raised and any replies, instead of waiting on a call back.
What your clients will experience
They haven't updated by Wednesday 5 August — what happens? They'll see a message requiring an update before they can continue. Dismissing it doesn't bypass it — it reappears until they update.
How do they update?
- Tap the link in the SMS they were sent — it goes straight to the App Store or Google Play.
- Or search "[Company Name]" in the App Store or Google Play and tap Update.
- Or check their list of available updates in the App Store or Google Play.
How do they know it's updated? The App Store or Google Play button will say Open instead of Update. "Open" means they're already up to date.
Logins
What are the login options? Mobile number with an SMS PIN (default), or email and password with a "Forgot password" option.
A client says the app doesn't recognise their email Check they're on the correct tab (Mobile vs Email) and that their account was actually set up for email login. If it was, "Forgot password" resolves most cases.
A client is asked for a Google account and password This is normal Google Play behaviour, unrelated to Hayylo — the device needs to be signed into a Google account to install any app update. If they've forgotten it, it's reset directly through Google (accounts.google.com), not through Hayylo.
A client is asked for an Apple ID and password Same principle on iPhone/iPad: the device needs to be signed into an Apple ID to install any app update, and this is standard App Store behaviour, unrelated to Hayylo. If they've forgotten their Apple ID password, it's reset directly through Apple (appleid.apple.com), not through Hayylo.
